We often get requests here at Jewellery By for bespoke items, pieces commissioned that allow our customers to get just the right piece made for them. Now while we're more used to requests for engagement and wedding rings, a special birthday treat for someone or even a treat for yourself we are open to requests of any kind. Everyone is different and we love seeing our customers ideas evolve and come to life.
Our most recent commission is possibly the most unusual we have had to date. The request of a plectrum admittedly baffled the less musically inclined of us but with a little help, we got well on our way. The finished article, a sterling silver plectrum complete with musical note (the name of which I won't pretend to know) is a gift for a music lover and shows that no matter how unusual your idea may be there are ways of bringing it to life.
